Yuletide assignments are in! And I'm so happy with what I got :D I could have written the first assignment (there was a bit of a mess up) but I much prefer the real one, so hurray!!

Here's my letter to whoever is writing to me:

Dear wonderful Yuletide santa,

First of all, thank you for signing up and offering one of my fandoms! Reading anything for any of them would be fantastic :) Just to give you a bit more of an idea, though, I thought I'd let you know a bit more about my likes and dislikes, and hopefully this won't contradict your ideas. Generally, I love plot. Lots and lots of plot :) I'm not really that bothered about smut for the sake of smut, and I love gen-fic or relationship-fic that focusses on the relationships between the characters rather than the hawt sex *g* hehe. Obviously, if a bit of smut is incidental to the plot then I'm fine with that, I just wouldn't want the whole thing to be that!

Anyways, I'm really pretty easy - if you've got a good idea, then go with it :) But here are some fandom specific things, if you'd like:

10 Things I Hate About You: I requested this because I wrote it last year, kind of unexpectedly, and had so much fun with it that I'd love to read more fic for it! I really like the canon relationships here, and the witty one-liners, and the Shakespeare references, so if you could get all of that in, I would love you forever :)

The Three Musketeers: This had been my one of my favourite books for years, maybe even my favourite. I love the detail and all the plot twists and intrigue. It's always seemed to me that there's more to the relationship between D'Artagnan and Athos than we see in the books, so that's why I picked those two, but I would love a story about Milady too, or any of the other characters. So if you really don't want to go with Athos or d'Artagnan or both, you have my leave to do something else!

All About Lily Chou Chou: If this is the fandom you're writing, first of all you have my admiration forever. I adore the film (as I said in my requests, the poetry of the filmatography and the music and the internet stuff in particular) but I wouldn't know where to start with writing for it! The way the film is full of completely serene violent scenes and other such contradictions is one of the things that really appeals to me. So yeah... characterwise I don't mind!

Noel Streatfield - Ballet Shoes: I love this book. So much. And all other books by Noel Streatfield. Sorry, I know that's not that helpful! I like all three sisters equally, so any story involving any of them is great. Things we don't see in the book, such as extra moments, what happens next or before, or anything really would be wonderful.

Hopefully I haven't scared you off with this! Thank you again for writing for me, and I'm really looking forward to reading my story!!

Mk :)
