jesspallas. The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed.
1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicise those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) Reprint this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've read 6 and force books upon them ;-)

Procrastinating
May. 13th, 2008 02:51 pmI should really be writing my presentation for tomorrow, but never mind... instead I'm browsing The Pier website for bed linen and bathroom products and furniture. Oh, I wish I had money to make my house look all pretty in September! Some of the furniture I've got there is still flat pack stuff I've had since I was 10, and I'm getting a bit fed up with it really... oh well. I still plan on making it look a lot more 'grown-up' when I get back, since I will have a living room as well as a bedroom and so on, and no housemates other than Trev! I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm also sitting around in my flat waiting for a guy to come who is interested in playing in my band, which should be interesting. I wanted to get everyone together at once but it just didn't work out today, so I'll just have to find a different time when we're all free. C'est la vie!

Dec. 2nd, 2007 10:19 pmI did this last year, with the first sentence from each month of the year - this time I'm putting the last sentence of each month too, because it's more interesting that way!
January:
'I thought that maybe it would be a tad egotistical of me to do this, but it seems everyone else is, so why not?'
'I'm so excited! YAY!'
That was about Berlin, heh
February:
'February: Write my hp_springsmut fic and also springtimegen fic.'
'And apart from having to get off the bus halfway home so my housemate could vomit, it was all fantastic! So hooray :)'
Oh Emily... that was a good night!!
March:
'Ich hab entscheidet, dass ich naechtes Jahr ein LJ auf Deutsch schreiben werde (auch dieses, natuerlich!).'
Obviously, that should be 'Ich hab entschieden...' At least I've learned one thing here! (although I still get it wrong half the time...)

And this is the last you will hear of money things for a LONG LONG time, I'm sure you'll all be glad to hear!
