So. I have had an interesting week. I think it's the kind of week that needs LJ-Cut categories to explain coherently (especially when my brain is full of fluff as it is atm... eergh) So:

In which I visit airports and display extreme stupidity
I was supposed to be in England until Wednesday, but managed to accidentally extend it until Thursday - before leaving to catch my flight on Wednesday night, I double-checked the time but not which airport, because I was certain I was flying from Luton (north-west London). Turns out it was Gatwick (south-east London)... oops! So I had to rebook my flight (fortunately easyJet have a deal that if you miss your flight you don't have to pay the full price of the next one) and came back on Thursday night instead, missing my class... silly me! Oh well, at least it's not a class I have an exam in next week.

In which I demonstrate my inability to get up in the morning
So, I get back on Thursday night, go into uni on Friday morning, and feel really weird the whole day - listless, slightly ill but more in a depressed way than in a properly ill way, and do nothing other than drink coffee (And eat Haagen Daaz, mmm) with friends here and then go to the cinema (I saw My Blueberry Nights - sooo good). So anyway, I decide on Friday night that I'm not going to set an alarm for the next day, I'll just see when I wake up. When did I wake up?

5pm. Yep, that's right. And that wasn't even dozing - that was properly sleeping until 5pm. I went to sleep at 2am, which is fairly normal for me, so that means 15 hours of sleep! Needless to say, I spent the rest of Saturday doing nothing and feeling pretty weird, and couldn't get to sleep until about 4.30am on Saturday night, of course. Which would have buggered me for the whole week, if it weren't for the fact that last night I started feeling really properly ill, which possibly explains the extended sleeping etc. Anyway, I am now full of cold. Yay.

In which I panic, to the max...
Sunday was a fairly busy day, and one thing I did was meet up with some people from my Pop Literature class to revise for the exam on the 15th. And now I am proper SCARED. I though Pop Literature was the class I was best prepared for - Sunday proves how little I know even for that. I am completely going to FAIL these exams. They have such a different system here, and the Germans of course have a completely different background knowledge as well, not just from the German school system but also because Literary Science is an integral part of their degree and it's not part of mine at all. Which is a problem when I have to write exams HERE. So yeah, I am screwed, and alternating between not revising because it's pointless, panicking, and attempting to read all the stuff I apparently should have been reading three months ago. Hooray.

In which I forget about panicking and squee
I have one thing which is an incentive to keep revising, and that is that as of today, I get to see Trev on Valentine's Day! Even though it's the day before my two exams! This is because my Dad wants to do a photoshoot with all the members of The Promise, and the only day he can get all of us and the photographer together is the 14th. So I'm flying to England on the 13th and flying back on the 14th, which means I HAVE to be ready for the exams before that, because they're both on the 15th. I'd just better make sure I go to the right airport this time...

Also, in the ongoing internet saga - the guy is supposedly coming tomorrow. If not then I'm finding out where AOL's headquarters are in Germany and visiting them with cocktails of the Molotov kind.*

Once I have internet I'll start posting something a bit more intelligent on here. Promise! I'Ve already got plans :)

*(Not really... but wouldn't it be fun?!)
