Resolutions mark 2

I am procrastinating (yes, staying off LJ only lasted 4 days... but they were productive!) and reading through all my entries. Even as far back as the beginning of February, almost every entry mentions revision or essays to some extent. So I think it's time to take stock, and think about something other than exams. I've already posted my resolutions for the summer, but I stopped having time to do my monthly resolutions post a while back, and I want to start again.
psychological - learn to be calm. don't read into things so much. find books on personal development, try new techniques. meditate.
relationships - spend time talking properly with friends. go away and look up things people mention so have something to talk about when see them again. be more tolerant around trev (don't get irritated so easily).
social - go to parties/other events when invited. do something with someone other than trev at least once a month.
fandom project - write something every month. January = Springsmut, February = Springgen, March = ?, April = ?, May = ?, June = ?, July = ?, August = ?, September = ?, November = ?, December = ?
- review everything I read at
mk_recs for a year. including canon as well as fanon.
academic - do all reading. do consistent work on essays. spend monday afternoons in library.
cultural - see something once a month - play/musical/film/art exhibition - and read about background/artist/history etc.
performing - practice exercise tape and songs twice a week. rehearse at home for both german play and music theatre revue, to get the best possible performance out of it. spend time getting into character.
art - take photos of each season. make a collection of winter, spring, summer and autumn photos. actually get printed and frame.

monthly:
- do something with someone other than trev
- write an item of fanfic
- see something (play/musical/film/art) and learn about on top of that
This is what I'm going to do in May, therefore:
- Pick a prompt for
smallfandomfest, and at least start writing fic
- Buy a book. Anything that's not relating to my course.
- Go out for coffee or drinks at least 5 times.
- Call Rosemary
- Organise house party. Go clubbing.
- Review every fiction book/ fanfic read at
mk_recs. And fix backlog of recs before reading anything else!
- Do my best on the revision front, and then forget about exams as soon as they're over.
- Sort out stuff for Berlin that I can do now - health forms, stuff for the flat, finding out how to sign on for uni and language course etc.
- Give back all library books (and pay fines, eergh!)
- Go and see a show.
- Practise for singing lessons. Write a song.
- Spend time taking photos of: countryside, London streets, parks, the canal, nightlife
So. Let the crossing off begin! (Well... once I've finished the week of doom, anyway. I have 2 exams on Tuesday, and then one every day for the rest of the week. Yuck!)
