Money and boredom. Poo.

Meh.I'm feeling generally kind of lonely today. I'm not even sure why - I think it's because the only things I've got that I can do are checking the internet at uni, and the bare minimum of food shopping. I only have 47 euros left in my bank, and I still haven't been told when I'm getting my grant or how much it's going to be, so I basically have to make 47 euros last an indiscriminate amount of time. Which is obviously not really very feasible. But it means I'm in this foreign country, in a city I love, but I can't DO anything here. I can't got out for a coffee or go to a museum or anything to break up my day. Aagh. And looming in the very near future is asking my parents for money, but I don't want to do that until I know HOW much money to ask them for, which means waiting to find out when I'm actually going to GET the grant. Grr. I think I can last until the 11th, food-wise, on what I've got. And Trev is going to be here from Saturday until the Sunday after, so I can always borrow money off him. So I think the 11th is going to be parent-phoning day... I'm just hoping I actually know the date by then.

I feel for you, I was in the same situation last month, only for different reasons. It's depressing not to have any money to spend.

You know, I did finally ask my parents for money and they were really sympathetic. I bet yours would be, too, parents generally are. Even if you don't know how much to ask them for. I'd do it right now - it's not your fault you don't have any money and don't know when you will. I'm sure they wouldn't want you to be miserable. You'll feel so much better once you won't have to worry about it anymore.

Yeah, I'm going to have to soon, I just really don't want to end up asking them twice!
