Internet works, but only one of us can use it at a time - apparently in Alice-Logic, if you sign up for a wireless internet contract, you have of course requested that the modem be something that only one person at a time can use. I really should have taken the hint from the name at the beginning... everything has been getting 'contrarier and contrarier' since then!

So I am going to buy a joint modem/router tomorrow. Another hour or two out of my revision time (it's already taken me 5 hours today...).

I'm going to make fudge now.

I'm hearing so many bad things about this company, it's not funny. A lot of my friends who have it have problems, too. Plus, the one user at a time thing is ridculous. Hello, it's 2008?!

Well, I bought the router this morning - compared to how long it took us to get internet from Alice and then get it to actually work, the linksys router I bought took 20 mins to get working perfectly.

I had a bit of a rant at the technician guy down the phone last night though, hehe. Our account probably says 'angry foreign people' or something in the notes now!
