Trying not to be too excited...

Oh, life is looking sunny today (partly due to the fact that it is, in fact, sunny outside today...:P). But seriously. Today, I am feeling motivated, and the German essay WILL be started. This evening I'm going to watch a gospel concert which includes the girl who's going to sing my dad's song, which is cool - I think it'll be great to meet her (although leaving at 4.30 to go and see it cuts down quite drastically on my essay-writing-time, oh well, what a shame... hehe). Plus, tomorrow I'm playing the organ - which isn't normally something I would get excited about, but I've been learning some new intro/outro music to play (finally!) and it's pretty cool - I love Gliere! So I have been spending many happy hours attached to my piano... mmmm... well, two, but still. Then I'm working tomorrow, so more money (yay) and then the Producer guy who I was going to meet on Friday but didn't is coming to my house and WILL be played some of my stuff, which is possibly a first in the history of stuff being played to people! So that is very cool. But I must be calm and cool, and not get excited, because probably nothing will come of it. Then Caro is coming over and eating with us, and then me and her have to get up at 2 in the morning to drive to Luton to get on a plane to go to Berlin! Woohoo! Only scary thing is that I have to ring some random German youth hostel tomorrow morning to confirm our booking - I'd better find the papers today so I know what to say... hmmm... don't actually know how to say 'confirm' in German.... problem...

So anyway, this weekend is looking good. I only got mildly fooled yesterday (a DEFINITE first)and apart from still feeling very sleepy cos it's the morning, and I'm really not a morning person, I am liking today already!

ahhhh I love that Damien Rice song, especially the bit with the strings at the end!! I always turn the volume up really loud and cry! :D it's great.
