mk_tortieThe weekend blues have been blown away by the frankly horrible weather, but hey, I feel more cheerful now - Sunday and Monday were pretty much all doom and gloom so today is quite a refreshing change. The singing exam is now over (hooray!) and surprisingly didn't go too badly (double hooray!) but the breaking news right now is: My Spanish Teacher Hates Me.
I remember a conversation I had with her, oh, a month or two ago, which went along the lines of 'I want my speaking exam to be on the wednesday because I have a music exam on the thursday' and her response being 'Sorry, couldn't put you on the wednesday but I've put you first thing on the thursday instead'. So this morning, the days in question being THIS WEEK, she says 'So Anna, you're first tomorrow, then'. Oh yes. Thanks for that. Not that I mind or anything, but you know, some WARNING would have been nice. Ah well. Am counting on my exam papers to get me my A in Spanish, not the oral, so as long as I get a decent-ish grade, it'll be fine. Now have to go write subjunctive phrases to include. Happy days....
Anyways, just spent rather a long time looking at dodgy pictures from the big band gig (which incidentally was GREAT!!!) and really ought to do some work, so tschuessle alle, bis bald :)
